This section of the web site will be of interest to current members of the church, and to visitors who wonder how the church family puts its beliefs into practice in everyday life.
The section about our beliefs presents statements of the mission and vision of the church, as well as stating the beliefs from which these spring. The logo of the Presbyterian Church USA provides the opportunity to show some of the characteristics of our parent body, the Presbyterian Church USA. If you want to learn more about the national church, here is a link to their excellent web site.
We also include information about the ways in which we try to put these beliefs into practice right here in our own community. The web page entitled ministries describes two areas of our work. First, we enumerate ways in which our church family is involved in the community and the world outside the four walls of our church building. While it isn't listed, we also support local, national and international missions through targeted financial support. Second, we show many of the opportunities that exist for you to participate in the life of the church - either as a "receiver" or as a "giver" in one or more of our many activities.
Next we have a page of special event information. This section is updated frequently so please check it out from time-to-time to stay current! Many events are open to the community and you can be sure that you're invited!
Finally we include a page of links to other web sites that we think might be of interest to those visiting this web site. This is a "work in progress" and we invite viewers to suggest their favorite links - we'll include them here as space permits.
